StarGate is a family of SoC devices specially designed to address broad
spectrum of network products to be used for personal, Home/SOHO to ROBO and
mid-sized company. With a high performance MIPS-compatible RISC core, highly
integrated system logic (i.e. SDRAM controller, interrupt controller, DMA
controller, timers, etc.) and a rich set of on-chip devices and interfaces
such as, 10/100 Ethernet MAC, 10/100 Ethernet Switch, UTOPIA, USB, PCI,
miniPCI, PCMCIA, Cardbus, 8-/16-bit MoTel bus, I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIOs,
etc. These SoCs allow our customers to put almost any innovated idea in
designing their networking products and devices.
To address the ever changing IT market and to help our customer to bring
their products to the market sooner than ever, Silicon Data also provides
our customers with HW and SW design kit. The HW design kit includes
Reference design circuit, Reference board Gerber file, Bill-of-material,
Application notes, Operation manual, SoC data sheet, etc. SW kits can be
ranging from complete Turnkey package to BSP of popular RTOS such as
Threadx, Embedded Linux, and VxWorks.
Currently, our Gateway SW suit includes NAT/PAT, Firewall, DMZ, DHCP server
& client, Proxy DNS, VPN pass though (IPSec, L2TP, PPTP), etc.
In terms of application, we also provide SW packages to support IPSec VPN,
IEEE802.11a/b/g AP/AP client, and USB Printer server.
